An assembly of demonstrators carrying separatist Khalistani flags and yelling pro-Khalistani chants toppled the tricolour atop the Indian High Commission in London on Sunday night. Although Scotland Yard stated that it was “informed” of an incident in the region, no formal comment has yet been made. India has, in the meantime, voiced its vehement objection to the British government regarding the security of its diplomatic post and raised concerns about the inadequate security at the location.
