On February 15 North Bengal Petrol Dealers Association calls for protest closure of 24 hours

Recently the members of the North Bengal Petrol Dealers Association have called for a 24-hour protest strike in the entire North Bengal from 6 a.m. on February 15 to 6 a.m. on February 16. On Friday, the organization’s members revealed the information through a press conference.

In this regard, the President of the organization, Shyamal Paul Choudhury stated that the dues for fueling the vehicles of the central forces at several petrol pumps during the Panchayat elections are yet to be cleared. He added that about Rs 19 crore is due in eight districts of North Bengal. As elections are approaching once again the dealers have been left in an inconvenient situation. Further, he stated that if the dues are left uncleared, they would have to actually reconsider dispensing fuel during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This is actually bad news as people are doing strike and by this many people will be affected. Today we need to have good understanding with each other so that we live a better life where everyone gets what they deserve.
