CRPF Observes 87th Raising Day with Blood Donation Camp

On the occasion of the 87th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), various battalions in Manipur organized blood donation camps. A notable event took place at the 86th Battalion CRPF camp in Lamphelpat, where over 67 personnel donated blood, facilitated by a collaboration with the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal. Dr. Florence Dangmei, CMO (SG) of the 86th Battalion, praised the generous participation of the officers, highlighting blood donation as a noble act of humanity. Additional camps were held, including one at RIMS featuring over 40 donations from personnel of the 109 Battalion CRPF. Commandant Brijesh Kumar emphasized that these initiatives are part of a broader effort across India for the Raising Day celebrations, showcasing the CRPF’s commitment to humanitarian efforts alongside their primary mandate of ensuring peace and security. The CRPF intends to continue this support through future health and humanitarian programs.
