Ather Energy, India’s leading electric scooter manufacturer, has launched the 450 Apex, a special edition scooter commemorating its 10th anniversary. The 450 Apex offers exceptional performance, with a new riding mode, Warp+, allowing the scooter to reach 40 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. It also has a top speed of 100 km/h and an industry-leading reaction time of 90 ms. Ather Energy Co-Founder & CEO, Tarun Mehta, said that the 450 Apex is a premium and highly desirable machine, expected to be appreciated by performance scooter enthusiasts across the country.
The 450 Apex also introduces ‘Magic Twist’, an evolution of conventional regenerative braking, offering 40% more braking force than any other 2W regen available in India. This feature ensures smoother commuting and improved control, eliminating the need for frequent levers to brake.
Taking a step forward to make the 450 Apex even more special, Ather has announced a Delight Kit is available for customers, which includes a handcrafted helmet, an inbuilt Ather TPMS, a neck gaiter, an iron-on garment patch, and a uniquely designed keychain. Bookings are open for the 450 Apex, with deliveries starting in March 2024.
