Amazon introduces Multi Channel Fulfilment for Sellers

Amazon.in announced the launch of Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF) in India. Amazon’s MCF launch enables sellers across industries to streamline their fulfillment operations and improve customer experience. The platform uses Amazon’s global presence, advanced fulfillment centers, and logistics capabilities to handle orders from various sales channels, including their own websites. This democratizes customer order fulfilment and expands sellers’ market reach in India, leveraging Amazon’s coverage of 100% of India’s serviceable pin codes.

MCF streamlines the process for sellers to create orders for off-Amazon shoppers, track them, and generate tax invoices, ensuring swift shipping, enhancing customer experience, and increasing sales. Fulfilment by Amazon provides a flexible, affordable, and scalable storage and fulfillment solution, including inbound transportation, labelling, storage, order management, pick-pack, and shipping services. Vivek Somareddy, Vice President, Fulfilment Channels & Global Trade, Amazon India said, “It allows sellers to focus on core business activities like product development, marketing, and customer service.”

Amazon’s Multi-Channel Fulfillment service offers numerous benefits, including expanded customer reach, improved order fulfillment, reduced operational complexity, cost savings, inventory management, faster shipping, automated order processing, and flexibility. Sellers can revolutionize their operations at an introductory price of INR 59 per order.
