According to recent updates, Tinsukia district of Assam has been facing heavy hailstorm and thunderstorm, affecting people’s lives and houses, facing power cuts due to falling of trees and many more.
On Sunday, Met department warned of thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds in Assam and its neighboring areas over the next two days.
Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued ‘yellow’ category warning to Assam and its neighboring states. As per their reports, a cyclonic circulation is lying over east Assam and neighborhood between 1.5 km and 2.1 km above mean sea level.
