A day after his swearing-in as Chief Minister of Manipur, Yumnam Khemchand Singh offered prayers at Shri Govindaji Temple, seeking blessings for the state’s welfare. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pray during a critical time of renewed efforts towards peace, unity, and development. On social media, Singh emphasized the need for guidance from Shri Govindaji to realize a vision of a developed Manipur, built on equality, dignity, empathy, mutual respect, and understanding among its 36 communities. Singh communicated his desire to fulfill the trust placed in him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and he called for collective efforts to foster a peaceful environment in Manipur.
