An hint that the pro-Khalistan preacher may have escaped Punjab is the fact that the Haryana Police have detained a woman who is accused of housing Amritpal Singh and his friend Papalpreet Singh at her residence in the Kurukshetra district.
In a related development, Punjab police detained a man who was apparently a member of Amritpal Singh’s private security detail. Singh is a pro-Khalistan preacher. Tejinder Singh Gill, a local of Mangewal village in the Khanna neighbourhood of the Ludhiana district, was assigned to Amritpal Singh’s protection.
