In a bid to offer seamless connectivity and worry-free travel experiences, telecommunications giant Vi has unveiled new international roaming packs tailored for travelers heading to Azerbaijan and a selection of African nations.
The move comes in response to the burgeoning tourism between India and Azerbaijan, with the latter witnessing a remarkable surge in Indian visitors. According to recent studies, the number of Indian tourists exploring Azerbaijan nearly doubled to 120,000 in 2023, marking a significant 100% increase compared to the previous year. Vi’s latest offering extends to not only Azerbaijan but also 12 African countries, including Cameroon, Sudan, Rwanda, and Ivory Coast, among others. With international roaming packs starting at just Rs. 749, Vi postpaid users can enjoy uninterrupted connectivity while traveling abroad.
The packs offer a range of options, from a 24-hour pack to 30-day packs, ensuring Vi users have flexibility based on their travel duration. Additionally, Vi’s ‘ALWAYS ON’ feature safeguards users from exorbitant international roaming charges post-pack expiry.

24-hour pack: Rs. 749 for 100MB data, 50 minutes outgoing local & to India calls, 5 SMS.
10-day pack: Rs. 3,999 for 2GB data, 200 minutes outgoing local & to India calls, 10 SMS.
14-day pack: Rs. 4,999 for 2GB data, 200 minutes outgoing local & to India calls, 10 SMS.
30-day pack: Rs. 5,999 for 5GB data, 300 minutes outgoing local & to India calls, 10 SMS.
