Vi, one of India’s leading telecom operators, has unveiled the Vi Guarantee Programme for its 2G handset customers, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive connectivity. Under this new initiative, prepaid users on unlimited voice packs of ₹199 and above will receive 24 extra validity days per year, with 2 additional days credited on every recharge over 12 months.
This customer-centric programme aims to solve the issue of interrupted services caused by the traditional 28-day recharge cycle, which often forces users to recharge twice in a calendar month. With Vi Guarantee, customers will now enjoy a 30-day service cycle, ensuring uninterrupted voice services. Popular eligible plans include ₹199 (Unlimited Calls, 2GB/3GB Data, 300 SMS) and ₹209 (adds Caller Tunes), available with the added benefit of extended validity.
Known for its diverse user base including a significant number of 2G users in peripheral and rural zones, is poised to benefit from this initiative. Local retailers believe this move will enhance customer loyalty and reduce recharge fatigue among voice-dominant users.
Customers can opt-in by dialling *999# or calling 1212. Vi’s Guarantee Programme for 4G/5G users offering 130GB extra data on ₹299+ plans continues alongside this new offering.
