In a grand initiative to promote the upcoming Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025, Uttar Pradesh Ministers Dr. Dayashankar Mishra “Dayalu” and ShriSomendraTomar led a roadshow in Dimapur, Nagaland. The event aimed to highlight the Mahakumbh as a monumental celebration of India’s unity in diversity and to invite people from Nagaland to join the spiritual gathering in Prayagraj.
Dr. Mishra stated the Uttar Pradesh government’s commitment to making the Mahakumbh a global symbol of cultural unity, boasting state-of-the-art facilities and international participation. The Mahakumbh, to be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025, is expected to draw over 450 million pilgrims, saints, and tourists. Key arrangements include clean drinking water, advanced crowd management, and digital services for real-time monitoring.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Mishra also announced initiatives for a plastic-free environment, healthcare facilities for pilgrims, and digital advancements, including AI-powered chatbots and smart parking systems. Dimapur interest in the event was palpable, with local travel agencies and influencers showing enthusiasm for promoting the Mahakumbh as a global pilgrimage destination.
