The Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF Baptist Church at Central Training Institute (CTI) Toluvi solemnly observed Uniform Sunday, an annual event under the Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association. The occasion emphasized leadership, discipline, and faith, bringing together officers and personnel in a shared commitment to spiritual and professional growth. Speaking at the gathering, Director General of Home Guards, Civil Defence, and SDRF, Renchamo P. Kikon, IPS, reflected on the church’s journey from a small fellowship to its present stature. He praised its role in nurturing the spiritual well-being of department personnel and acknowledged its faith-driven progress.
“The growth of this church is a testament to the commitment and faith of those who serve here. Let us continue to lead with sincerity and discipline, setting an example for others to follow,” Kikon stated. He urged officers and personnel to uphold integrity and dedication in their service, reinforcing the core values of leadership and responsibility within the department. The event featured an inspirational sermon by Pastor Asemba Longchar, who emphasized the importance of faith in guiding one’s professional and personal life. A special prayer session was led by women’s leader Khrienuo, offering blessings for the congregation and their continued service to the community.
