Security forces arrested two active cadres of KCP (Apunba) from different locations of Imphal West and Imphal East districts. The two cadres – Thaodem Jackson Singh (21) of Thangmeiband Hijam Leikai, Imphal West district, arrested from his locality while Angom Vidyananda Singh (20) of Khurai Thangjam Leikai, Imphal East district, arrested from his residence. From their possession, two mobile phones and an Aadhaar card were seized. Security forces also arrested an active cadre of PREPAK, identified as Khaidem Toni Singh @Ibungo (42) of Moirang Khunou Makha Leikai under Keibul Lamjao-PS, Bishnupur district from his residence. On the other hand, security forces recovered one single barrel gun, two pistols with magazine each, eight IEDs, 41 ammunition rounds of different calibers, and two Baofeng Radios in a search operation conducted in Khulsaibung hill range under Machi-PS, Tengnoupal district.
