Tripura CM emphasised the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life

On June 21, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized the value of integrating yoga into daily life, saying that it not only promotes self-awareness but also aids in stress management, guaranteeing a healthy body and a sound mind. “Yoga helps people understand themselves,” Saha stated at the state-level 11th International Yoga Day event held at the International Fair Ground in Hapania, Agartala. One of the most significant aspects of life is self-realization, and yoga is a potent tool for achieving it. Additionally, it supports a healthy and stress-free lifestyle.

The chief minister recalled that the festival was conducted at the same location last year and stated that Yoga Day was being celebrated with tremendous fervor throughout Tripura this year as well. CM Saha emphasized the beginning of the worldwide event, pointing out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s request to designate June 21 as International Yoga Day was approved by 177 nations in September 2014 at the UN. The day has been observed globally since 2015.

The chief minister of Tripura, Saha Saha, has urged the youth to reconnect with yoga as a daily practice for physical and mental well-being. He emphasized the importance of yoga in combating HIV/AIDS cases, which weaken the immune system and can have severe consequences. The event, attended by government officials, practitioners, students, and health professionals, aimed to promote yoga as a way of life.
