Trident Group, a leading global enterprise, has launched the ‘Takshashila’ program, an ambitious recruitment and training initiative targeting 2,000 youth across rural and semi-urban India. The program aims to bridge the employment gap by offering opportunities to individuals with ITI, diploma, and 10+2 education backgrounds, with a starting salary package of ₹12 lakhs per annum.
The Takshashila program emphasizes inclusivity and nation-building, reserving 50% of seats for women, and prioritizing candidates from economically weaker sections, defense service veterans, and national sports players. Rajinder Gupta, Emeritus Chairman of Trident Group, stated, “This initiative is designed for social development, economic upliftment, and national growth. It aligns with our commitment to ‘Opportunities Unlimited,’ ensuring participants can learn, earn, and grow.”
Since its inception, the program has successfully trained and employed over 20,000 individuals, many of whom have become leaders in various sectors. The 2024 drive will engage over 50,000 applicants through a widespread digital campaign.The Takshashila program’s impact on regional markets like Imphal is expected to be significant, with increased income levels driving consumer demand and local economic growth, further integrating these communities into the national economic framework.
