There have been speculations regarding Congree Party, Trinamool Congress Chief and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee about contesting together for upcoming Lok sabha elections 2024.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced to play alone for this year, 2024 Lok sabha election. Further she clarified about not discussion done with the Congress party about sharing seats.
“I have consistently mentioned that we will contest independently in Bengal. I am not bothered about the national scenario; however, as a secular party, we will alone defeat BJP,” statement by Mamata Banerjee.
