Security forces successfully apprehended three individuals involved in drug smuggling during an operation at a naka check point in Tengnoupal PS, located in the Tengnoupal district. The arrested suspects were identified as James Baite, aged 28, and Hatneikim Baite, aged 50, both from the Tengnoupal district, along with David T Mate, aged 41, from Churachandpur district. During the arrest, authorities recovered approximately 5.89 kilograms of WY tablets, along with a four-wheeler Mahindra Bolero with the registration number MZ-01F-5013. Additionally, three mobile phones and three Aadhaar cards were seized from the suspects’ possession, indicating further layers of their illicit activities.
