The sixth season of the ‘Ultimate Bartender Championship’ has been announced by William Grant & Sons’ free-spirited blended malt Monkey Shoulder. On May 10, at Olterra, the championship’s Kolkata city round came to a close as over 100 skilled bartenders from the city competed for the mask.
Hosted and judged by Monkey Shoulder India’s Brand Ambassador and Chief Monkey Officer, Gaurav Sareen. The event saw a group of bartenders compete in five mixology challenges, with the top finalists Swastik, Manoj, and Shubhobrata winning and will now compete with other city-round finalists at the finale.
The brand is aiming to “Unmask the next champion” by evaluating essential skills such as industry knowledge, pouring, nosing, table service, and nailing the perfect serve.Commenting on this, Kapila Sethi Kad – Marketing Head, said, “Monkey Shoulder is proud to support the bartending community in India.
