Tata Motors growing EV market in Nepal; launches Nexon EV Max

Committed to accelerating the electrification of transportation, Tata Motors introduced the new Nexon EV MAX in Nepal, an extension to its best-selling EV in the personal mobility market, at an alluring starting price of NPR 46.49 lakh with 7.2 kW charging option. Tata Motors is leading the charge with this introduction to increase the attractiveness of EVs and broaden the market by providing a new option for consumers seeking longer intercity travel.

The Nexon EV MAX is powered by the high voltage state-of-the-art Ziptron technology and will come in 3 exciting colours: Intensi-Teal, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White, with dual tone body colour as standard. It is equipped with 40.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery, delivering an ARAI certified range of 453 km, producing 100 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque resulting in 0 to 100 sprint times in under 9 secs. The Nexon EV MAX will be available with a 7.2 kW AC fast charger, reducing charging time to 6.5 hours and providing a faster charging time of 0-80% in 56 minutes from any 50 kW DC fast charger.

Nexon EV MAX offers enhanced safety features such as ESP with i-VBAC, Hill Hold, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Vehicle Hold, and 4-Disc brakes.Commenting on this Mr. Siddhartha SJB Rana, Executive Chairman, Sipradi Companies, said, “The Nexon EV MAX is an exciting product proposition for the Nepalese market.
