The company’s ambition includes increasing its hospital network from 11,500 to over 14,000 facilities by FY27, tapping into the growing demand for accessible healthcare.

This move aligns with the Indian health insurance sector’s growth trajectory, which is expanding at a projected CAGR of 18%. TATA AIG’s strategic focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets is aimed at increasing its penetration, with these regions expected to contribute 35% to its health portfolio by FY27, up from the current 26%. The MediCare Select product offers a variety of innovative features, including unlimited restorations, OPD coverage, maternity benefits, and customizable riders, meeting the evolving needs of the health-conscious consumer.
