Taali is a webseries based on the life and struggles of transgender Shreegauri Sawant.
The trailer was released on Sunday and it received an overwhelming response from fans and were blown away by the actress stunning transformation and her heartfelt portrayal of the esteemed transgender activist.
Sushmita Sen shared her delightful encounter with Shreegauri during an interaction with News18. Sushmita Sen said, ‘She (Shreegauri Sawant) came to me, blessed me, kissed my forehead and gave me a gift. She told me, ‘I don’t want to watch. Yeh jo kar rahi hai, sahi kar rahi hai. Yeh meri marble chi murti hai (Whatever she is doing, she’s doing fine. She is like my marble statue)’,’ said the actress, expressing her gratitude for Shreegauri’s appreciation and support.
