Student Rampage at Exam Centre Draws Sharp Criticism from AMGSU

The All-Manipur Gorkha Students’ Union (AMGSU) expressed serious concerns regarding an incident during the first day of the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur. In a press release, they regretted the disruptions that affected students’ mental preparedness and urged authorities to investigate and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences. AMGSU called on students to adhere strictly to examination norms, maintaining discipline and respect towards invigilators and officials. As the HSE continues, they also requested that communities refrain from using loudspeakers to provide a quiet environment for students.
