Sikkim Manipal University has launched two undergraduate programs and five postgraduate programs, all UGC-entitled and recognized at par with on-campus degrees. This online degrees offer unparalleled flexibility, allowing learners to balance their education with work, family commitments, and other responsibilities. This is an affordable program, allowing learners to study at their own pace and tailor their schedules according to their work and personal commitments. Dr. Dilip Chandra Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor of Sikkim Manipal University, expressed enthusiasm for the launch of SMU’s online degrees, stating that the university’s focus on providing quality and affordable education has driven its growth.
The new undergraduate programs include Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a combination of English, Political Science & Sociology and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). The university also launched five postgraduate programs: Master of Arts in English, Master of Arts in Political Science, Master of Arts in Sociology, Master of Commerce, and Master of Computer Applications.
The online degree programs feature an advanced digital learning platform, advanced Learning Management System, extensive e-learning material, online proctored examinations, dedicated student support, and live and recorded lectures. Students will also have access to webinars, virtual sessions, doubt-clearing sessions, and online placement drives. Additionally, SMU offers placement assistance, attractive scholarships, and easy financing options, including zero-cost EMIs.
