32 healthcare professionals were celebrated today for completing the B1 level of German language training. Spearheaded by Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, the initiative aims to empower Indian nurses with the linguistic tools required for flourishing careers in Germany.
The rigorous two- to three-month residential program, conducted by native German trainers, equips graduates of B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programs with crucial language skills. Minister Chaudhary underscored the program’s significance in addressing global skill gaps and positioning India as a skilled talent hub.
“With an estimated 18 lakh job openings in Germany due to demographic shifts, our focus on skilled migration is timely,” noted Minister Chaudhary. He commended the candidates as catalysts for India’s global footprint in healthcare.
