Samsung has certified 450 students in Artificial Intelligence and Coding & Programming under its flagship Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) at the NSIC Technical Service Centre, Hyderabad, strengthening India’s future-tech talent pipeline. The felicitation ceremony was attended by NSIC Hyderabad Centre Head Rajivnath, who congratulated the students and underlined the need for sustained investment in youth skilling to drive India’s digital transformation. Of the certified students, 100 completed advanced AI training, while 350 were trained in Coding & Programming through structured, hands-on learning models focused on industry relevance.
SIC is Samsung’s global skilling programme aimed at enhancing employability through technology-driven learning and project-based outcomes. In India, the initiative is aligned with the Skill India and Digital India missions, with a target to skill 20,000 youth nationwide in 2025. The programme also emphasises inclusivity, recording 42% women participation and expanding outreach to tier-2, tier-3 and semi-urban regions.
In Kolkata, the programme is expected to strengthen the local IT and digital services ecosystem by creating job-ready talent in AI, coding and data-driven roles. With demand rising across startups, analytics firms and enterprises, structured skilling initiatives are seen as critical to meeting hiring requirements in the eastern India market.
By nurturing tech-enabled talent, Samsung Innovation Campus continues to support India’s journey toward a digitally empowered economy.
