The Congress said that Rahul Gandhi’s expulsion from the Lok Sabha was the result of a series of events that happened at the pace of a “bullet train,” and they claimed that the BJP wants him to “apologise” to “those who have ran away” after stealing money from Indian citizens. Congress media and publicity department chairperson Pawan Khera said during a press conference at the Rajiv Bhawan in this city that there has been a “tsunami of support” on Twitter in recent days, with many people offering their homes to Gandhi because “he lives in our hearts” and the government need not worry about his home. The Housing Committee of Lok Sabha gave Gandhi a notice to leave the 12-Tughlaq Lane residence after his disqualification last year.
