Security forces in Imphal East and Imphal West districts have made several arrests of active cadres from the PREPAK and KYKL insurgent groups. Khundrakpam Anilkumar Singh, alias Manganglakpa (21), was apprehended in Sawombung Thongkhong, with a mobile phone seized. In Thoubal, Ibungomacha Laishram, alias Rocky (43), from Gaili village in Nagaland, was arrested at Yairipok Lamkhai, with a mobile phone and SIM card confiscated. Additionally, Khaidem Narendra Singh, alias Angou (29), of Wangoi Khaidem Leikai, was arrested at his residence under Wangoi-PS, where a 9 mm pistol, ammunition, and mobile phone were recovered. In a separate incident, Manipur Police found a stolen Honda Activa in Mayang Imphal, which had been reported missing on February 11 from Patsoi-PS. Security forces persist in conducting search operations and maintaining area control in vulnerable districts.
