Three additional members of the KCP (Apunba) involved in a bomb blast in the Lilong Chajing area under Singjamei Police Station have been apprehended by Manipur Police. The arrested individuals are Laimayum Nelson Sharma (20), from Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak, who was detained at his home; Chingkheinganba Wahengbam (20), also known as Chingkhei, arrested at Imphal airport; and Laithangbam Robert Singh (32), known as Abu, taken into custody from the Minuthong area, all located in Imphal West district. During their arrests, police seized two mobile phones, two Aadhaar cards, one wallet containing Rs. 260, and two license plates with the registration MN 01AK 3615.
These arrests follow the earlier detention of three other KCP (Apunba) cadres, thereby completing the apprehension of all individuals associated with the bomb blast incident. Additionally, security forces arrested another active KCP (Apunba) member, Sagolshem Johnson Singh, also referred to as Pandum or Nongshaba (32), from the Langjing Achouba Awang Leikai area. This individual was reportedly involved in pressuring Catholic Schools in the Imphal region to admit students. Police recovered three mobile phones and a side bag from his possession during his arrest.
