Samsung Solve for Tomorrow has seen overwhelming participation from youth

Samsung India’s national education and innovation competition Solve for Tomorrow has seen over 50,000 registrations from youth across India, particularly from smaller towns such as Begusarai, Chitradurga, Dharwad, Gulbarga, Jalpaiguri, Khurda, North 24 Parganas, Madhubani, and Pathanamthitta. They seek innovative technology solutions to solve real-world problems that will positively impact society.

The flagship CSR program of India’s largest electronics brand encourages youth aged 16-22 to create innovative solutions to transform lives through education, environment, health, and inclusion. So far 73% of applications come from 18-22-year-olds. youth have chosen Education & Learning, Environment & Sustainability, Health & Wellness, and Diversity & Inclusion as themes. Youth from India shared ideas to solve real-world problems.

Samsung will select the top 30 teams to be trained and mentored by FITT, IIT Delhi, and MeitY Startup Hub. The top 30 and 10 teams will receive  INR 20,000 and INR 100,000 each respectively to create and enhance their prototypes and interact with young Samsung employees and experts. Three national winners will win INR 1.5 crore in prize money and exciting Samsung products. Youth can apply for Solve for Tomorrow till 5 pm on May 31, 2023 at www.samsung.com/in/solvefortomorrow.
