RattanIndia’s Revolt Motors, the country’s largest-selling electric bike company, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Pankaj Sharma as Chief Business Officer.
Sharma previously served as Ola Electric’s India Head with responsibilities including sales, service, distribution, customer experience and go-to-market for the company.
Sharma has nearly three decades of experience working in leadership positions at leading auto companies in the two wheeler, four wheeler and commercial vehicle segments with extensive experience in strategy, sales, marketing, servicing, customer experience, dealer development and digital transformation in automotive industry, the company said in a press release.
Sharma was the National Business Head of Royal Enfield and a member of the management team during his previous stint. He also served as National Head – Sales Operations at Volkswagen Group India, responsible for growing sales and dealer network for the company. He is the first Indian to reach the Upper Management Cadre (OMK) in the Volkswagen Group. He held several leadership positions at Maruti Suzuki and was one of the youngest members to be elevated to its management committee. Sharma started his career at Tata Motors with commercial vehicle sales.
