Dr. Rashmi Saluja, the Executive Chairperson of Religare Enterprises and Chairperson of GTTCI (Global Trade & Technology Council India), was lauded with the prestigious International Buddha Peace Award during the ‘Mahasaddhammajotikadhaja’ Title conferring Ceremony held at the Myanmar Embassy in New Delhi.
The award, presented by His Excellency Mr. Moe Kyaw Aung, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to India, celebrates Dr. Saluja’s significant contributions to promoting peace and global harmony. In her acceptance speech, Dr. Saluja underscored the paramount importance of peace in today’s turbulent world, emphasizing India’s enduring commitment to fostering harmony both domestically and internationally.
Distinguished guests including Abhidhaza Maharaththa Guru, Agga Maha Pandita Dr. Ashin Nyanissara, and Abhidhaza Maharaththa Guru, Dr. Bhaddant Nyanesara, graced the occasion alongside over 150 Buddhist monks, followers, and diplomatic representatives.
