Recently the officials from the NJP Police Station have arrested two individuals in connection with a theft and recovered the stolen goods from their possession. The arrested suspects have been identified as Sujan Das and Mohammad Rajib. As per the reports, the theft occurred last Friday at a newly constructed house in the Shantipara area, located near the NJP police station. Actually the thieves made off with several items during the incident. In fact the owner of the house filed a complaint with the NJP police on Saturday. Following the complaint, the police actually initiated an investigation and, on Saturday, apprehended the suspects from Fulbari’s Jotiakali area.
Police sources revealed that the arrested individuals have been involved in several thefts in areas surrounding Fulbari over a prolonged period. Right now the suspects were produced before the Jalpaiguri Court on Sunday, and a thorough investigation into the case is ongoing. This is very sad incident and people need to take it very strictly so that this things doesn’t happen again.
