Recently The Manipur High Court has ordered the deletion of a paragraph from a March 2023 order, which directed the inclusion of the Meitei community in the Schedule Tribes (ST) list. Actually the court said the paragraph was in conflict with the Supreme Court’s constitution bench stance. Ethnic violence broke out in the state after the order, killing over 200 people. This is very sensitive issue and right decision is needed to be done so that people live in peace.
Manipur is very important state in India and it has lots of importance. People living in Manipur should have good understanding with each other so that they live a good life. Actually right now tension is going on in every corner of the world and people really want to live with peace. In fact today people see India as a good country who don’t want any conflict and for this reason violence in Manipur should be stopped to make it a good place.
