Reach to Teach Foundation conducted a month-long training for teachers in Class X and XII in Government schools in Arunachal Pradesh. The training aimed to familiarize teachers with the Examinations and Beyond Tool Kit, designed by Reach to Teach to support the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in improving children’s performance in the X and XII Board examinations.
The training was part of a three-year program aimed at strengthening teaching and learning outcomes in the state. The training was held across all 26 districts in September and October.The SCERT has also created a District Taskforce to monitor Board Exam initiatives. Reach to Teach Foundation organized a two-day training for District Task Force officials on November 7th and 8th to familiarize them with essential reporting tools.
A dedicated Teacher Helpline has been established to address queries and receive feedback on the material, strengthening FAQs. Ratna Viswanathan, Chair of the Board, Reach to TeachFoundation said, “Our aim is to strengthen learning outcomes with a focus on bringing up the performance by children in the Xth and XIIth Board Exams.”
