Railway line construction progress presented to CM Khemchand

Ashish Bansal, the General Manager of NF Railway Construction based in Maligaon, recently met with Chief Minister Y Khemchand along with other officials to provide an update on the railway line being constructed to connect Imphal. This meeting took place at the Secretariat, where Chief Minister Khemchand highlighted the railway line as a significant infrastructure development for the state. He emphasized that the completion of this project would enhance Manipur’s transport infrastructure, improve connectivity, and create a more efficient and secure supply chain. The Chief Minister articulated that this initiative aligns with the broader vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Manipur.

Khemchand affirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to providing all necessary support for the timely completion of this critical project, which is expected to foster the progress and prosperity of the region. Additionally, Nitin Bhatnagar, Executive Director & State Head of Indian Oil AOD, also met with Chief Minister Khemchand to discuss the supply and distribution of petroleum products within the state. In his remarks, the Chief Minister underscored the essential connection between a reliable energy supply and economic development, emphasizing its necessity for maintaining peace and prosperity in Manipur. He urged relevant authorities to ensure uninterrupted oil supply across the state to meet the needs of the population and maintain essential services, despite existing challenges. The Chief Minister’s comments reflect a comprehensive strategy to bolster both infrastructure and energy reliability as cornerstones for the state’s economic advancement.
