Mangpu, August 07: The 143rd death anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated with several cultural programs in Mangpu.
In a collaborative initiative, the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Darjeeling and the Workers Welfare Center organized the event at Rabindra Sangrahalaya. Many dignitaries and attendees paid tribute to the great poet by paying floral tributes at his statue. The program included various cultural programs featuring Tagore’s music and discussions.
