Prime Minister Modi completed the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat on Sunday. The PM’s radio program has served as a platform for citizens to engage with PM Modi, highlighting various things that citizens across the country have contributed to India’s development. Sunday was special because the show completed 100 episodes. This special occasion was celebrated not only in India but also in many Missions and Embassies of India across the world.
Missions of India telecasted the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat live in all global regions, including Europe, Asia, Africa, France, Saudi Arabia, ASEAN, Paraguay and the United States. Side events such as live quizzes were also hosted.The Indian diaspora was eager to listen to PM Modi’s address. The Mann Ki Baat episode highlights, India’s efforts have enabled local artisans to reach a global platform, such as Vijayashanti Devi’s export of lotus fiber products to the US, fulfilling India’s goal of ‘local for global’.
The PM’s address was telecast live and was also witnessed by members of the United Nations. India’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations tweeted, “A wonderful relationship!
