PhysicsWallah centers Kharagpur with first tech-enabled offline centre, eyes booming education market

PhysicsWallah (PW), a leading education company, has expanded its footprint in West Bengal by launching its first tech-enabled PW Vidyapeeth centre in Kharagpur. Located on the 5th and 6th floors of the Atwal Building, opposite Kharagpur College on OT Road, the new centre is part of PW’s strategic offline expansion aimed at delivering quality education locally.

The PW Vidyapeeth centres are designed for students preparing for JEE, NEET, Foundation courses, and Olympiads. The centres offer tech-enabled classrooms, recorded lectures, NCERT support, offline doubt-solving, daily practice problems, PYQs, PW-AITS, activity-based learning, and a dedicated Student Success Team (SST). A parent-teacher dashboard ensures transparent progress tracking.

Ankit Gupta, CEO Offline, PW, said, “We want to reduce the financial and emotional burden on students traveling to big cities. With our Kharagpur centre, we bring high-quality, tech-enabled education to their doorstep.”

Kharagpur, known for its student population due to institutions like IIT Kharagpur, is witnessing growing demand for competitive exam coaching. PW’s entry is expected to significantly impact the local education ecosystem, offering an affordable and reliable option. Registrations for PWSAT are now open, offering tuition fee waivers for students from classes 7–12 and droppers preparing for JEE/NEET.
