Pepsi has chosen Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador

Beverage maker PepsiCo has roped in actor Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador and also unveiled a new campaign aimed at young consumers as it gears up for a long summer that could help boost sales of cold drinks.
Singh joins Pepsi’s growing league of celebrity supporters. In 2019, the brand was associated with actor Salman Khan.

More recently, it also announced popular Kannada actor Yash of KGF fame as the new face of the brand. A leading female actor may soon join the brand’s summer campaign that Pepsi is running under the theme “Rise Up Baby”.

India is expected to witness a scorching summer, a season prompting Covid-free brands to increase demand for cold drinks and cooling equipment.

“Rise Up Baby is a youth movement, and we’re bringing it to life in different flavors. So, one taste is this whole Ranveer explosion, and there’s going to be another explosion from Yash’s point of view, which is slated for a March-end release,” said Soumya Rathore, Category Lead, Pepsi Cola, PepsiCo India.
