In Manipur, a significant felicitation ceremony was held to honor participants of a Skill Development Programme organized by the Assam Rifles, aimed at empowering the youth and creating livelihood opportunities. The three-month program enrolled 58 trainees, providing a combination of structured classroom instruction and hands-on experience. Training subjects included professional competencies in housekeeping, food and beverage services, and front office operations, along with soft skills, personality development, interview techniques, and personal grooming. This comprehensive approach aimed to build real-world confidence and prepare participants for various roles in the service sector. At the ceremony, it was highlighted that 43 participants had secured placements in different establishments, demonstrating the initiative’s success in connecting skill development with employment. Certificates were awarded to acknowledge the candidates’ dedication and success, while Assam Rifles officials emphasized the importance of skill development for economic independence, encouraging trainees to continuously strive for excellence in their careers.
