This prestigious event, attended by leading Swedish brands like Ikea, Volvo, H&M, and Tetra Pak, centered around sustainability and its role in strengthening India-Sweden relations.
At the reception, Oriflame’s 100% biodegradable stall underscored its dedication to eco-friendly practices. The company proudly announced that 80% of its brand partners are women, with 85% of its products sold in India being locally produced, reinforcing its significant contribution to the Indian economy and society.
Edyta Kurek, Senior Vice President & Head of India, remarked, “We are committed to empowering millions of women by offering them financial independence through our business model.” With a workforce comprising 60% women globally, Oriflame emphasizes gender equality and community upliftment through safe, eco-friendly products that align with both Indian and European standards. Oriflame revealed that 95% of its rinse-off products launched in 2023 are biodegradable, further solidifying its commitment to a sustainable future and promoting micro-entrepreneurship as a means of driving positive social impact.
