Ajay Devgn’s NY Cinemas is all set to open its exclusive multiplex cinema in the heart of Guwahati city.This multiplex will be NY Cinemas entry in the northeast region after successfully having delivered multiple screens in North and West of India.NY Cinemas is a multiplex chain founded by Ajay Devgn to bring the old-world charm of single screens back to multiplexes and bring audiences closer to their favorite films and stars.
NY Cinemas is a new movie watching destination in Guwahati, designed with Assamese culture and tradition in mind. It features a Mocktail Barat, where bartenders stir up tempting mocktails and chefs offer scrumptious delicacies with plenty of food options for movie goers.
The theatre is located at Roodraksh Mall. NY Cinemas offers unique features such as a 360-degree photobooth, a 12ft video wall in the theatre lobby, and multiple selfie points to capture happy moments. They currently operate across 12 cities with less than 50 screens and are planning to add another 30 screens this year.
