Nissan expands India line-up with new 7-seater B-MPV and 5-seater C-SUV, eyes family & adventure buyers

Nissan Motor India has reinforced its market strategy by announcing two new models – an all-new 7-seater B-MPV and a 5-seater C-SUV – set to launch in FY25 and early FY26, respectively. This move aligns with the company’s focus on high-growth segments, complementing its existing line-up, which includes the Nissan Magnite, Nissan X-TRAIL, an upcoming 7-seater C-SUV, and an affordable EV.

The 7-seater B-MPV will feature a bold C-shaped grille and SUV-inspired muscular design, targeting family-oriented buyers. Meanwhile, the 5-seater C-SUV, inspired by the legendary Nissan Patrol, is expected to disrupt the competitive SUV market with premium craftsmanship, advanced technology, and robust performance tailored for Indian road conditions. Nissan also shared teaser images confirming the development and launch timelines of both models.

With challenging hilly terrains and increasing consumer preference for SUVs and MPVs, the new B-MPV and C-SUV are well-positioned to cater to this evolving market. Local dealers expect these models to drive significant interest, bolstered by improving infrastructure and road networks. With four products planned by FY26, Nissan aims to enhance its domestic performance while expanding exports, strengthening its footprint in India’s competitive automotive sector.
