The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has commenced the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations from today, with 17,194 candidates appearing across 68 examination centres in the state. The exams will continue until March 7, 2025.
Among the total candidates, 12,403 students are appearing for the Arts stream, 3,219 for Science, and 1,026 for Commerce. Additionally, 546 candidates are taking the exams under the compartmental category.
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio extended his best wishes to the students and the education board for the smooth conduct of the examinations. “May your dedication, hard work, and focus bring great success. My prayers for good health and peace,” Rio posted on X.
The NBSE has taken necessary measures to ensure fair and smooth examinations across all designated centres. With students aspiring for higher academic and professional careers, the board remains committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of the examination process.
