National Integration Tour Concludes at New Keithelmanbi Garrison, Governor Flags in Participants

The Assam Rifles have initiated a significant National Integration Tour to promote peace and national unity in Manipur. Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla inaugurated the tour, which featured a group of 24 youth from different districts of Manipur. The tour, organized under Operation Sadbhavana, took participants from Imphal to Kolkata, where they engaged in communal harmony activities, including Ramadan Iftar, and visiting cultural landmarks. The journey continued to Thiruvananthapuram, where youth interacted with the Governor of Kerala and learned about various scientific and cultural sites. Other notable locations included Kanyakumari and Mumbai, where participants experienced local transport and iconic monuments. The governor praised the Assam Rifles for their dedication to fostering harmony and youth empowerment, underscoring the importance of including girl participants as agents of social change. The Deputy Inspector General of Assam Rifles emphasized the tour’s role in representing peace and cultural integration, expressing confidence that the relationships established would endure.
