The monsoon session of Parliament is starting today. The full budget for the financial year 2024–25 will be presented on Tuesday. Meanwhile, in this session, starting with the leak of question papers for the NET examination, the Parliament may be uproarious over the guidelines to display the name of the owner in all the eateries along the Kanwar route. And before the attack by the opposition, Narendra Modi launched a counterattack. Addressing the media at the start of the session today, Modi single-handedly took on the opposition parties.
Narendra Modi said before the start of the Parliament session today, ‘It is a matter of pride that after 60 years, the same government has come to power for the third time and is going to present the first budget for the third time… I therefore want to assure the people of the country. Our goal is to make that assurance a reality. This budget is an important budget for immortality. Today’s budget will set the direction for the next five years of our term. This budget will become a strong foundation for our dream of ‘Developed India’.
Modi praised the fights and said, ‘Parties use the duration of Parliament to hide themselves.’ Modi’s message to all in this climate is to unite the world to take the next five countries forward. Modi said, ‘You must know that in the very session of the Parliament, an attempt was made to silence the voice of the majority of the 140 crore people of the country. Two and a half hours of trying hard to hold on. Country people are not for communication. This parliament is for the country, not for the struggle.
Then Modi said about the Indian economy, ‘It is a matter of great pride for every citizen that India is the fastest-growing country among the large economies. In the last 3 years, we have been moving forward with a continuous growth of 8 percent.’ In this environment, Narendra Modi claimed that this upcoming budget session is going to be very important for the future of India. He called upon all parties to cooperate in this situation. Meanwhile, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. This is the seventh time in a row.
