Nagaland Signs Agreements to Boost Land Resource Management

On Wednesday, the Department of Land Resources (DoLR) and the Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NePED) signed Memorandums of Agreement (MoAs) to enhance land resource management and sustainable development in Nagaland. The ceremony took place at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima, with key speakers emphasizing inter-departmental collaboration for effective project implementation. Focus areas include springshed development, economic growth through research and development, and human resource development for sustainability. The project, costing Rs 574.63 crore, aims to cover 22 villages over five years across 16 districts.
