Nagaland Police goes digital: Report stolen items online now

Nagaland Police has introduced an online system for submitting complaints about stolen vehicles and lost or stolen mobile phones.

In a recent press release, Nagaland Police highlighted the issue of the public unknowingly purchasing stolen items, emphasizing the need for greater awareness. To combat this, a comprehensive database will be developed, allowing the public to verify the status of second-hand items online before making purchases, thereby reducing theft incidents.

The police urge citizens to utilize the online complaint system in addition to filing physical complaints at police stations, which are necessary for insurance claims.
