Modi, Hasina to inaugurate first India-Bangladesh energy pipeline

The first energy pipeline between India and Bangladesh will be opened on Saturday via video conference between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart, Sheikh Hasina.
It would be the first cross-border pipeline between Bangladesh and India, and it is expected to have cost Rs 377 crore in total.
The sum of the costs includes the $285 crore spent on laying the section on the Bangladeshi side.
