A new higher secondary institution, Excellent Academy, was inaugurated in Uyok Chingya, Kakching Turel Wangma, and will begin its first academic session with classes XI and XII, affiliated with the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (CoHSEM). MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar Singh, at the event, emphasized the importance of education in contributing to the community, asserting that knowledge should be shared for the greater good. He expressed confidence in the academy’s role in shaping students’ futures and guiding them toward success. The inauguration was attended by notable guests, including the principal of Excellent Academy, Khumukcham Sundari, and other educational leaders. Rameshwar stressed the value of knowledge in today’s world, urging students to leverage their learning for life success and advocating for the importance of moral values and life skills in education. He called on teachers to foster both academic and ethical growth in students and expressed optimism about the academy becoming a leading institution in the region, encouraging the faculty to cultivate capable, responsible students to benefit society and drive community progress.
